What’s in the name?
The name ENKI honours one of the great benefactors of ancient times - known in Sumerian tradition as a god of wisdom, water, creativity, and healing, and in other accounts as Enoch, a sage of the pre-flood world. Said to have arrived in 3439 BCE with 50 Annuna companions, Enki was a guardian of knowledge, a teacher of the arts, architecture, philosophy, and fertility. He is remembered as the architect of the Great Pyramid and a preserver of sacred truths through cataclysm and time.
